Hi there, I’m Tia
A little bit about me
I can be a little shy when meeting new people, but once I know you and feel comfortable, you’ll start to see my real personality shine through.
I’m actually quite a silly girl and love nothing more than rolling around on my back for belly rubs. When I’m feeling excited, I’ll often throw in a play bow to let you know just how happy I am! It’s lovely watching my confidence grow as I get to know people and seeing more of my cheeky side come out.
Because of my past, I can sometimes be a little unsure about new experiences. Loud noises, busy roads and unfamiliar places can feel overwhelming, so I appreciate being given the time to explore at my own pace. The good news is that I’m getting braver every day and with a little encouragement from my people, I’m learning that the world isn’t such a scary place after all.
I’ve lived with other dogs before, but it’s clear that not all of my experiences have been positive. Kennel life can make me feel quite worried around unfamiliar dogs and sometimes my nerves get the better of me. I’ll need time to settle into a home before working on building my confidence around new dog friends, but I’m a super clever girl who loves learning and has so much potential.
All I really need is a patient family willing to take things at my pace. In return, you’ll get to watch me grow into the happy, playful and loving dog I know I can be.
