Hi there, I’m Saffy,
A little bit about me
I’m a very sweet-natured girl with a huge heart and a very enthusiastic tail!
I sadly arrived in Branch care after being found abandoned, alone and confused in our off-lead area. We don’t know much about my past, but it’s clear I’ve been through enough. When I was found, I had some old, healed scars on my face, as well as fresh wounds on my feet and legs.
Despite this, I came straight over to the people who found me for reassurance. I’m now showing everyone just how loving and affectionate I am. When I see one of my favourite people, I get so excited that my whole body seems to wiggle! My tail starts going, I’ll giddily run over and then happily press my whole body against you for fuss. Even just talking to me is enough to get my tail wagging!
I’ve also become something of an office dog and have been helping out with the admin. I’m sure I’d make an excellent work-from-home colleague – although there is one important thing to know about me… I LOVE food. I’m not above helping myself to the tastiest treat in the room, even if it was meant for someone else! Consider yourself warned – I’m very committed to quality control.
I’m still learning about toys and discovering what all the fuss is about. Big, unfamiliar places can sometimes feel a little overwhelming, but when I’m with someone I trust, I gain confidence and start exploring at my own pace.
