Yorkshire 3 Peaks
Saturday 11th June, 2022
Tucked away within the Pennine Range of the Yorkshire Dales National Park lie the beautiful three peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough. Your challenge is to summit all three peaks in 12 hours, so that we can continue caring for cats, dogs & rabbits in the Leeds, Wakefield & District area.
To begin with, you will ascend 2,227 feet to the top of Pen-y-ghent. You will then get straight onto the next summit, Whernside, the highest peak at 2,415 feet. The final summit will take you to the top of Ingleborough, 2,373 feet high with some fantastic views.
We will have a team of highly trained mountain guides on the day to help and support you through the challenge, in addition to our fantastic team of staff and volunteers who will greet you with a warm welcome as you arrive, as well as celebrating your success when you have completed the challenge!
You’ll leave with some fantastic memories, and knowledge that you’ve helped the RSPCA Leeds, Wakefield & District Branch raise vital funds for the animals at their Animal Centre in East Ardsley.
We are asking participants to try and raise a minimum £150 in sponsorship money.
