We’ve got lots of exciting activities coming up over the next month!

All events take place at our Animal Centre on Moor Knoll Lane, East Ardsley, Wakefield, WF3 2DX.

Halloween Paw-tay!
When: Thursday 31 October, 10am – 4pm

Come along to our Animal Centre for some seasonal fun! For a small donation you can play spooky Halloween games, enjoy refreshments and have a tour of our cattery to meet some of the cats we have in at the moment!

Puppy social play time
When:
Saturday 2 November, 10am – 11am

Puppy social play time is a great way to positively socialise your puppy in different environments and situations to help them develop into confident adults. Our trained staff monitor these sessions so you can also use the time to pick their brains about any training issues you are having!

Sessions cost £5 per dog (£2.50 for any additional dog with the same owner). We do a circular walk around the field first to introduce all the dogs to each other on their leads, then go into our large secure off-lead area for a play.

If you haven’t been to a session before, please complete the form on this page so that we can ensure suitability.

Newfound Adventure Land meet-up
When: Saturday 2 November, 11am – 12pm

Bring your Newfoundland along to join our Newfoundland breed meet-up!

Our off-lead area is fully secure, allowing your dog to meet new friends in a safe environment.

Attending the meet-up costs £5 per dog, with each dog receiving a goody bag for coming along!

Places are limited so booking is essential. You can book here.

Puppy Training
When: every Sunday from 10 November to 8 December [10 Nov, 17 Nov, 24 Nov, 1 Dec, 8 Dec], 2:45pm – 3:45pm

We run 5 week blocks of training for puppies (up to the age of 6 months) and this is our last block of 2019! By enrolling you are booking to attend the session each week. The block costs £35 to book.

At these training sessions we will teach all the basics including sit, paw, loose lead walking and recall. You’ll get the chance to discuss your puppy one-on-one with our trainers. At the last session our very generous photographer Ben Adams will also be there to take photos of successful graduates!

You can apply for a place on our website here – click ‘Enrol now’ at the bottom of the page.

If you have any questions or would like more information, send us an email at info@rspcaleedsandwakefield.org.uk.
