How we can help
Giving Animals a New Home
Last year the Branch rehomed 332 cats, 103 dogs and 51 rabbits, all of which were neutered, microchipped and health checked before adoption.

If you see an animal which you’d like to give a new home please ring the appropriate adoption hotline (for dogs ring 07743 773871 and for cats/rabbits ring 07785 750492) to book an appointment to view the animal.
All potential adopters must undergo a home visit during which an RSPCA home visitor will visit them at their home to discuss the needs of the animal they are hoping to adopt.
An adoption fee will be charged for all animals rehomed as a contribution towards the costs incurred by the Branch in rehabilitating, neutering, microchipping, health checking and boarding the animal.
Such adoption fees only go a small way towards covering the costs incurred by the Branch.
Neutering & Veterinary Treatment
The Branch can also help local pet owners on low incomes by subsidising the cost of neutering and veterinary treatment for those in receipt of qualifying benefits.
Last year the Branch subsidised the costs of neutering 26 animals and helped fund veterinary treatment for a further 53 animals.
For more information about subsidised neutering and veterinary treatment please contact the Branch office on 01924 299170 or by email
