Zara
Female /  7yrs
Available

Sponsored By:
Dedicated to Enid Brooksbank

History:
Hi! I am Zara (a lovely, cuddly female German Shepherd). I came in to the centre with Zac due to our owners ill health. I am a lively, friendly dog that does need boundaries as I can get somewhat over excited particularly when I know I am going on a walk. I am loving all the attention I get here but would still love a forever home - can you give me that?
Type of home required:
Zac and I have lived together and would love it to stay that way but understand if two of us might just be too much to cope with. We are getting used to spending time apart and think we are both coping extremely well so being re-homed separately may not be such a bad thing. My new owners will need to enjoy walking and be able to spend time playing and socialising with me. I am comfortable around other dogs but do like to bark to let them know I am about! I am also used to children.

Stella
Female / 2 1/2 years
Available

Sponsored By:
Commerce Business Systems Ltd

History:
Hi! My name is Stella and I was brought into the centre originally as my owner was moving abroad. I spent some time in foster care to give me a break from kennels but I am now looking for a forever home.
Type of home required:
If you ever wanted a dog that you don't want to walk then I am the one for you!!! I would love to live in a rural area or a home with a large garden. This is because I am not always comfortable being around other dogs, traffic and built up areas. I am your ideal dog in the home and I love being around family as I am very gentle and loving. If you can be understanding and patient of my needs you will see just how great a dog I am. Could you offer me a home or do you know someone who can?

Jack
Male / 4 years approx
Available

Sponsored By:
Geoff So

History:
Hi, my name is Jack. Would you believe I was found tied up and abandoned over New Year (I even had my own article in the local paper.) I have been threw a lot, so I am learning to trust again. You will need to be patient with me, plenty of visits to see me will help me to get to know you. Once I do, I will be your best friend and will love to be with you.
Type of home required:
I need an owner with experience of my breed and size as I can be very strong. I will need to be the only dog and will be best suited with older children. If you can give me a chance to prove to you just what a big baby I am you won't be disappointed. Can you give me that chance??

Angel
Female / 18 months
Reserved

Sponsored By:
Justin Bednarek

History:
My name is Angel and I came into the care of the animal centre after it was found I was not suitable living with the resident cat. I am a lively, bouncy and very friendly dog that has a lot of energy so it would be great if you loved walking.
Type of home required:
I can live with children 13+ and other dogs, but not cats or small furries. I need an owner who is happy to continue with my ongoing training and socialisation. Is that you?

Misha
Female / 18 months
Available

Sponsored By:
Catherine Brundred

History:
Hello! My name is Misha and I came here after a family break up so didn't have a very good start in life. I am a lovely, friendly dog who just needs a patient owner to give me the care and attention I definitely deserve!
Type of home required:
I would love to live with another playful dog if possible but this is not essential. I love nothing more than playing fetch even with 3 legs but cannot walk as far as I used to. I also need an owner who is happy to continue with training to help me continue to feel safe and secure in any environment. I love everyone at the centre and they love me but It would be great if I could find my very own loving home.
