Smudge
Male /
Available

History:
Hi, my name is Smudge and I came into the Leeds, Wakefield and District Branch Animal Centre with my friend, Milo. I am older than Milo and a little calmer than he is, but I am still a high energy dog and I could run and run for miles! I love company and I am happy to watch the world go by by your side. I am very calm when walking on the lead and would make a wonderful companion.
Type of home required:
I would need a family who have lots of time, space and attention to make sure than I can burn all of my energy off! I am very bouncy and very strong so I think a family with children over the age of 10 would be ideal for me.

Angel
Female / 2 Years (approx)
Available

Sponsored By:
Joan Mullins,& in memory of Paul Draper

History:
My name is Angel and how can you resist this face?! Considering how great I am I have been at the centre for too long and although I don't mind it here I would love a home to call my own. I am very energetic so you would need to be active and enjoy exercising me and going on long walks. I love to play fetch, play with my toys, and I am very affectionate and loving.
Type of home required:
I can live with children 13+. Preferably I should be the only pet with my new owner, as I can get over excited when playing fetch and I need to be taught a little self control, but don't let this put you off as once you meet me you will wan't to take me home, so come along I am waiting!!

Kazu
Male / Young Adult
Available

Sponsored By:
Dedicated to Enid Brooksbank

History:
Hi! My name is Kazu. I am a lovely, tall, handsome husky and I would love to find my forever home! I am a silly sausage and have got my head in the clouds, but I am so happy and friendly and I know that I could make the perfect companion for someone. Could it be you? One thing that I love more than ANYTHING ELSE is water. Drinking it, playing in it - I don't care, I just love it! I like to tip my water bowls over when the Animal Care Staff aren't looking... teehee.
Type of home required:
I am a very bouncy, high energy dog and I would need a family who not only have lots of energy, but also lots of time to give me some basic training and to teach me how to be the best dog that I can be. I am very active and so would need long walks every day. The Animal Care Staff here at the Leeds and Wakefield Branch have said that it would be preferable if my new owners have had previous experience with huskies or similar breeds, and also that I would be better suited with a family who has no very young children - from ages 10+.

Goldie
Male / 18 m - 2 years
Available

Sponsored By:
Catherine Brundred & Maria Zafra

History:
Hello! My name is Goldie and I am a silly, soppy Labrador cross. I just love to be close to people and would love to find my forever home with a family who can give me lots of love and snuggles. I am a very intelligent dog and with some training could be a brilliant companion, but as I can often get very giddy, I would ideally need owners who have got experience with dogs.
Type of home required:
The staff here at the Animal Centre think that a family who have got experience with dogs would be ideal, as I do need some training. I am a very active dog and would need a family who have got lots of time to walk me, train me and give me all of the time and attention that I deserve. I am more than happy to live with children who are aged 5+ but no loud children please!

Milo
Male / 3 years (approx.)
Available

History:
HI! My name is Milo and I am a young Greyhound X who came into the centre with my father, Smudge. I am a high energy dog who enjoys running and bouncing around! I am very affectionate and love to give kisses but I can often pull when walking on the lead and so would need someone who can help me to correct this behaviour. I very much enjoy my treats!
Type of home required:
I would need a family who are able to give me lots of time and attention, and to help to train me as I am still very young and very strong! Families with no young children would be preferable for me as I am very lively and strong.
